On January 24, the museum was buzzing with 225 guests who had come to enjoy the inaugural #MuseumAfterDark event.
There was fabulous food by Mercer’s Catering, great music by DJ Junior Brown, Mike Stinson took all the photographs, and Avenue Magazine was there to write about it.

In the theatre, Chris Robinson gave an illustrated update on the new museum, and Nancy Schulz gave a talk on reimagining the visitor experience. B.J. Normand gave everyone their instructions for #MAD Bingo and suddenly everyone was off into the galleries, gift shop and lobby tracking down clues. People also took time to visit Toni Maggio in the lobby to record their Museum Memories.

We would like to give sincere thanks to all the people and companies who helped make #MuseumAfterDark such a success including Page Management Counsel Ltd; Peter Markiw Design & Photography; Royal Albert Museum for donating a behind-the-scenes tour for both the present RAM and the new one (!); Famoso Jasper Avenue for a VIP dinner for 8 and discount coupons; to Cloud Nine Pajamas and Café Tiramisu for gift certificates; and Good Luck Sock for socks! There were also several anonymous donors who we thank as well! We would also like to give a big shout-out to all the bloggers and social media people who were so supportive in getting the word out about #MuseumAfterDark – thank you so much for your help, we appreciate you!
